I do stand-up presentations when I'm working without an LCD screen and computer. I'm usually standing when all I get is an overhead projector or I have to write things on a whiteboard. When I get to use PowerPoint for presentations, I'm usually sitting because it's easier to control the computer that way.

I think I understand Andrew's objection to people who won't stand for the non-computerized presentations. If I'm correct in my assumptions, he's looking for people who will make a good impression with clients, and standing during a presentation is consistent with that.
