Dick, et al,
There's a sensitive issue with mailings to new mothers. I expect that your pediatrician friend has a good grip on the nuances, but I once had to hand-delete names from a baby formula company's direct mail database because they were inadvertently mailing "baby's first" birthday cards to *all* the mothers in the database, even the mothers whose babies had not survived their first year... The cards that the company sent out caused more than one mother serious flashback grief.
