My only advice would be to limit your tutorial to what they would recognize
as making their lives easier and their work better. That's what reaches
people; otherwise, they'll likely resent attending and won't pay much
attention. That's a bit of exaggeration - few are actually contemptuous of
grammar and style, but real learning accompanies genuine interest.

When I coached our team of 12 scientists, I focused on using the templates
and the tools in Word, because knowledge of those things made it easier for
them to fulfill their end of the projects. Those who had an interest in
grammar and style or more advanced Word features caught me at the coffee
machine for an impromptu tutorial.
