Just want to say thanks for all the helpful responses. I've ordered
6.2.1 on CD but I think I'll install it into a different directory, just
in case. Will probably upgrade to 4.79 while I'm waiting for the CD,
too.
Had two major system crashes in 5 weeks (one happened while I was
copying mail folders out to a zip diskette), so I'm leery of introducing
another unknown. Sounds like the "lesser-known" mail software could be
downright handy though. Now if I could get a 56k modem back in my
hardware, as backup for DSL tantrums...
Oh, I was finally able to find the info on PacBell's site...they're
still not supporting anything above Netscape 4.72, even though they
carry the Netscape ads. Grrr. That doesn't cut it any more.
