Sorry to come in late on this....but something happened this past week....I
was interiewing for a contract position due to start about two weeks after
my current contract ends. I'm at the interview and we're going over online
samples available via my website (in what I thought was a password protected
area). So we're looking at the samples, and talking about what went into
them, the constraints, etc. One of the other folks interviewing me says
she's seen them earlier in the week from another candidate. To make it
short, turns out someone else in the Bay area was using some of my samples
as her samples. I DID convince the interviewers that they really were my
samples--calls to references right then cleared it up. But it left me
feeling very uh...."naked and vulnerable"(?) and really shook me up for the
rest of the interview with other people in the company. Other than only
providing samples on request via CD, I can't think of another solution.
Anyone have suggestions/tips?
thanks,
steve arrants
