Dear Techwhirlers,
I would be grateful for any help any of you could give me.
Until a couple of weeks ago, I was using Powerpoint 2000 to create slides
for a training course. I now have a new machine running xp.
Powerpoint xp has proved disastrous!!!
My graphics were all bmps inserted through Insert Picture. They were all
linked graphics.
Now when I open a file I get the usual message, "Do you want to update
links?" If I click yes, I get a message that some files cannot be updated
and are unavailable etc...
When I try to reestablish the links, I get a message that the graphic was
unavailable and cannot be updated.
Have any of you experienced this problem? Is there a workaround?
I cannot even Change source. The graphics are all there and in the right
places.
At the moment, the only solution seems to be a return to Powerpoint 2000...
Many thanks in advance,
Tybi Kapiloff
