Oddly, it was while I was living the presumably wild-and-free portion of
my life, touring in rock bands throughout the 80's and early 90's, that I
became MOST aware of how my looks needed to conform to certain standards.

Not a whole lot of rock stars look like Rosanne Barr or Ed Asner, whether
that's fair or not.
