Here in Austin, where jogging shorts, T shirts, and flip-flops are standard
office attire, wearing a suit wouldn't hurt you and would probably score you
some points because it shows you care enough to put on a tie when it's 104
degrees outside. But you could get the same effect with a sport coat and
decent pants. You don't need the whole three-piece pinstripe effect.

I'm sure Boston is more formal than Austin, though.
