Hi everyone

I would like to know whether there is any substantial difference
between User Manuals and User Guides.

I have often seen both being used to refer to the same thing.
However I recently came across a website which talked about "user
guides and manuals". It sort of gave me the impression that manuals
are smaller handbooks and a guide is a much more comprehensive book.

I know that there are 'Quick Reference Guides' but are they called
'Quick Reference Manuals' as well?

Please do respond offline if this issue has already been brought up on
the list.(I checked the archives but could not find an answer to this)

Thanks in advance

Anila
