James,

I believe that the last version of PageMaker produced by Aldus was v4.0. I am not familiar with the new 7.0 version, but there were no problems opening 4.0 files in Adobe PageMaker 6.5. You can also download a PM 3 converter from the Adobe web site.

The biggest improvement in v6.5 was an updated Table Maker and improved import/export filters. Functionally both are very similar.

Hope this helps.

Can someone please explain the differance between Aldus PageMaker and Adobe PageMaker? Thanks.
