Earl Cooley wants to know what are the three greatest single-word
virtues that typify an outstanding technical writer?

I agree with Larry Wall and all the Perl-geeks with a little re-scoping:
Laziness -- don't write more than you need to cover the topic.
Impatience -- get it done and get rid of it. You can spend forever
polishing a doc if you have the patience for it.
Hubris -- I know how to do my job. I _AM_ the docs SME and I'm not going
to let some twirp of a code SME dictate how I write my docs.
