"Relocate" is slightly jarring (to me), but pretty harmless. I prefer your
word choice, but I don't think it makes a big difference. However, I find
"Invoke" objectionable. 'Gee, I was going to just RUN the program, but this
says to "Invoke" it...' To me, the word choice is odd enough that I would
wonder if it might have a meaning other than "run" or "open."

Side note: I know your excerpts are out of context, so this comment might be
really dumb, but... Shouldn't it be "WITH the piece of electronic
equipment..."?
