In the current market, you'll be hard-pressed to find any company that
will hire someone for 100% telecommuting (or very much at all) right off
the bat. In my experience, most companies consider telecommuting only
after they get to know you, and you get to know your co-workers, after
you've all worked on-site for a while.

The only exceptions I've found (where I've had telecommuting contracts
that were so off-site, I never even met the clients face-to-face) were
when employees were scarce, jobs went begging, and companies needed
anyone qualified they could get. That's certainly not the case right now.

Good luck, though... if you can get it, it can be a great way to work for
everyone involved.
