Hi All

I use CSS class rules to define styles for my website but I find that IE4
completely ignores my style rules - at the moment they are internal rules.
The rules set pretty basic properties, such as font, colour and size. Below
is an example of the typical properties that my style rules set:

.business_rule { font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;
color: #336633; background-color: #CCFFCC; margin-bottom:6.0pt}

The CSS1 compatibility chart that I consulted
(http://www.webreview.com/style/css1/charts/mastergrid.shtml) describes
IE4's and IE5's support of class rules as "quirky" but it says that the
actual properties that I use are supported in both these browsers. In IE 5,
my website with its style rules looks as I intended it to.

I have visited the W3C's CSS validator site but the validator is not
available for download at the moment.

Dreamweaver's browser check did not complain about any of the style rules
that I use.

Does anyone know how to deal with this problem?

Thanks

Hanlie Pretorius
