This is probably meant to imply "Style Basics". University courses usually
number the first course in a series "101" (Biology 101, Psychology 101,
English 101, etc. ) The following terms are then 102, 103, and then second
year would be 201, 202, 203, etc.)

Hope that explanation did not confuse you more. We often see the "101" used
in the US... I've seen magazine articles called "Dating 101", "Men 101" (as
if there was that much to know) <g>.... even "Fashion 101".

It IS sort of silly, isn't it?
