I have my portfolio up on my web site, http://www.davidcastro.com. Having my
own domain name shows that I am technical enough to get one set up. Having a
decently laid-out web site shows that I can construct information. My synopses
of my projects shows I know how to boil information down to the bare
essentials. My samples show that I know what I'm doing.
I am also currently developing a web site for technical writers to learn how to
put JavaServer Pages technology into their web-based documentation to create
on-the-fly customized documentation for their users. I'll put a link into
*that* web site, http://jsp.davidcastro.com, once it is ready for prime time.
This will show that I am a *technical* technical writer. It shows that I can
learn cutting-edge technology, and that I can program in Java sufficiently-well
to create some useful functionality.
If you have any feedback you'd like to give me to help *me* improve what *I*
have presented, please email me!
