Hi Doug --

You ask:
Is there a way to re-capture all the changes you've made so that
they show up in revision marking mode?
--------------------------

First, I doubt it. But why not save your corrected document to a
new file and then use the compare documents utility to display
the changes?

When you are done with your changes and have saved them to the
new file, you'll have 2 files, awful.doc (the original) and
awful_fixed.doc (your improved version). Open awful_fixed.doc,
click Tools > Track Changes > Compare documents and browse to
awful.doc. The window should now show what changed to go from
awful.doc to awful_fixed.doc. You can save this composite
document to a new file, which can be printed, emailed, whatever.
