I didn't see anything like this on the archives, I swear.

Say, for example, that you are editing one of the worst-written documents you have ever seen. Because you are seen as the expert in writing within your company, it is your standard practice *not* to use revision marking when editing your Word documents. I know that this is an enviable position to be in, but that's the way it is here, in general. The people on my team are the final arbiters of what is right and what is wrong, from a strict writing aspect.

Back to the situation at hand: You are halfway through editing this horrible document, and are not using revision marking. At this point, you realize that you might want to show somebody exactly how horrible the document was before you had your shot at it. The good news is that 1) you haven't saved your changes to the doc (maybe that's dumb, but it happens to be the case), and 2) you have an infinite number of "undo"s available to you. Alas, if you "undo" all the way back to the beginning of the document, turn revision marking on, and then "redo" everything, your changes don't show up in revision marking. Only new changes show up.

Is there a way to re-capture all the changes you've made so that they show up in revision marking mode?

Time is of the essence here, as I will soon have to save the document at the end of my workday (thereby losing all of those fabulous "undo"s).

Thanks in advance,
Doug Grossman
