I take a comprehensive portfolio, but decide beforehand which pieces
might be the most useful to me in the interview. Just as it's easier to
dress up,then remove a jacket if you look too formal, it's better to
have too many samples than not enough.
Besides, I get some weight-lifting done lugging my portfolio around.
