I'll give you a perfect example.

I responded to an agency that was pushing a position that as part of
the job requirements, said that Java and ASP was a "big plus".

Now, I couldn't write an Active Server Page if they were holding my
mother hosage, but being the way I am, told the agency to schdule an
appointment anyway.

So...I get the job. Guess what? I don't do ANYTHING regarding ASP or
java...it just happens that a home-grown web tool that I use was
written in ASP and Java.
