In an earlier episode, I promised to take your concerns about the
presentation topics at STC Conferences to the appropriate people in the
organization. This is just to let you know that I gathered and categorized
your messages and gave them to the Assistant to the STC President for
Conferences, Deborah Sauer. We had a good discussion, and she appreciated
the ideas and the fact that you cared enough to offer constructive
suggestions. I know that may sound like administrative gobbledygook, but my
brain is still on autopilot from information overload.

FWIW, I found the technical level of the sessions very good (both this year
and last year), and the range of levels suitable to a variety of audiences.
If you wanted technically heavy stuff, it was there. If you wanted lighter
fare, you could find that too. If you wanted sleep, this was not the right
conference for you!

Anyway, it was a pleasure to meet so many tech whirlers in person, after
many years of email correspondence. Now I've gotta get to the stuff that was
piling up in my absence. Thanks for all you folks do!

Marguerite
