Then, there is the issues of gang printing and shells.

If your packaging will be printed on large sheets of paper look at the waste
as a place to print some smaller items that use the same inks, varnishes,
and paper.

If you have more than one product in the pipeline, you will want to print a
shell, and then print the content on top of that. This takes some planning.
