Hi,

You guys are great, and REALLY, I try to find the information before turning to you.

Okay, so I inherited a macro (we are in Word 2000) that has a a routine with the coding (I'm retyping this not cut and pasting)..

Selection.ParagraphFormat
(various stuff)
.SpaceBefore = 72
(various stuff)

I want to change it to 36. Seems like all I should have to do is change it, save the file, go to my document file and reattach new revised template, maybe close and reopen to have the change take effect. No such luck. What am I missing?

This project is forcing me into learning how to manipulate the macros in VBA. I'm not a programmer - but reasonably literate. Any REALLY good sources of help out there? I've read VBA in 15 minutes - that helped lots.

BTW - I'm thinking of offering future clients a 10% discount if I can do the project in FrameMAker. Maybe we could start a movement?

thanks for help.
