Carol: You've answered a question I've had in my mind for weeks: Are there
paralegals/technical writers doing the work of a technical writer/paralegal?
To the list members: How many paralegals among us (current and former)? How
transferrable are the skill sets?
Can you write?
Can you ask questions?
Can you learn new things?
From my limited view, the skill sets intersect. If you can answer yes to the above questions, and are a paralegal you can become a tech writer. If you are a tech writer and want to become a paralegal, well, there my limited view restricts what I can say.
