I work with a security architect
who's worked in software development:
his method is to use decimal units
for working versions:
.01, .02, etc...
BUT a new version would only
be "cut" if there were substantial
changes, and these would be
indicated by: 1.0, 1.1, etc.
(these would be pdf'd and write protected).
