Re: Hiring an entry-level writer

I think the best advice I can give (as an entry level tech writer myself) is
to be honest in your search for just that an ENTRY LEVEL writer.  It has
been my experience in the past couple of months that a lot of recruiters or
Senior Writers are saying they are recruiting entry level techinical writers
but expect them to have written 10 and 20 manuals.  I think your ideas are
great and wish that more recruiters would be as honest and sincere in their
search.  I often want to say, "If you want entry level then why are you
looking for someone with mid-senior level qualifications."  Recruit entry
level and expect them to be entry level.  Don't expect any more or any less.
That's MY OPINION.  I don't know if it helps or not.
