We do have a wealth of samples; every manual, on-line help, whitepaper, etc.
that you get with your current software or find on-line is a sample of
technical documentation.

While you might not have the template to see which exact fonts were used or
how to set up paragraph styles to create the same results, you can see the
visual appearance of the styles, see what topics are covered, see what
phrasing is used, etc.
