I have a personal bias against "Collegiate" dictionaries. I guess my 'old
guy's' experience is that they are to restrictive and uninformative. I like the
big ones, I guess, and the unabridged ones. Beyond that, I don't have a huge
preference. I use "Webster's Third New International", but if you told me I
should upgrade, I probably wouldn't argue.
