According to Wired Style, it is Web site. However it's also email.
Methinks Wired Style is a little more current than MOS.

Pick one, be consistent. Don't lose a lot of sleep over it. Nobody's going
to end up in a hospital or a morgue because you use one over the other!

According to the Microsoft Style Guide, you should capitalize the word, Web,
because it refers to the World Wide Web. Also, the Microsoft Style Guide,
uses Web site rather than website.

I hope this helps.
