If anyone can shed any light on these mysterious problems, I would
appreciate it.:
Background: 3 people use FrameMaker 6.0 and Acrobat 4.0.
DAY 1: Both programs worked for all three of us.
DAY 2: Two of us got limitcheck/image errors when attempting to print to
file; the other person had no problems. I defragmented my hard disc to
create more space (I have plenty of memory--128MB), then reinstalled Acrobat
and FrameMaker, and then I was able to create post script files (and then
PDFs although I did not open the PDFs to view).
DAY 3: The ability to print hard copies from FrameMaker no longer exists for
any of us. Any pdfs created look like they are upside down and backwards,
and like the content from all the pages is smashed onto one page. When the
pdfs are opened in Acrobat the zoom is set to 679%, most of the image can
still be seen in the viewing area.
I suspect our printer is the problem. It is a Xerox Document Centre
420/432/440 PS3
with PostScript Print/Fax Driver
version 2.03.00 00.04.12 for windows Nt 4
Any ideas?
