Wouldn't a quick reference card qualify as a "paper" FAQ of sorts? Granted,
the content of a QRC is not traditionally organized or structured exactly
the same, but isn't the purpose of QRC to supply answers to frequently asked
questions?
For that matter, why couldn't you put a FAQ on 11 x 17 card stock? Then, you
could update it whenever you needed and insert it with the shipping package
for the product.
You could also supply a hyperlink from the User Guide to the web-based FAQ.
