Keith and Joan,

I think you are right. I graduated with an English degree. I could type and turn on the computer. I was terrified of the computer to be honest. I had a "I can do this" attitude and a willingness to learn. I ask all the right questions and always think about the person who is reading my manual as a "student." This helps me to remember that they will ask the questions no expects them to ask. I read everything I can get my hands on and try to sift through what works for my audience.

I do know some C++, Java, and other languages, but I have acquired these skills while on the job.
