Re: STC or STC# ?

I joined STC in  November of 1992 at a time when I THOUGHT I was a tech writer
(sometimes ignorance IS bliss!). It was the best career investment I ever made. I
would not be here, where I am today, if I were not a member. The resources
available, not just the publications, but the contacts - people who know what you
need to learn and are willing to share - make the cost downright cheap, at least
for me.

Friends here in the Dallas area accuse me of being a gung-ho STC cheerleader.
Probably with some justification. Circumstances may force me to forgo a lot of
things, my STC membership won't be one of them.
