I agree. I stand corrected. My overreacting was
inappropriate.

Forgive me for rambling on as I have about this issue.
If Eric will allow, please let me explain.

I was raised to treat women with respect; and, anytime
I see someone shredding a woman verbally, it makes my
blood boil, whether the intention of the person was
well-intentioned or not.

As I am learning, however, most women don't want to be
defended, and they don't need my help. It's tough
enough covering my own backside.

Yes, I recognize that it IS bad behavior and poor
management. Thing is, current societal trends say
that the individual is never to blame for
anything...it's gender, the patriarchy, the media,
daddy didn't hug you, or whatever. Plus, you can't
tell the individual that he/she is out of line,
because you are bitter, racist, sexist, etc.

...now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go put my
soapbox away, go get another sweet roll, finish this
document, go home early, drink a six-pack, and try to
ignore the fact that trying to have character means
nothing...
