One other place to try for common software... Costco. While they don't
always beat the lowest mail order prices, they usually come in right at the
bottom. And you don't have to wait...
They carry a surprising number of titles--all the Microsoft Office suites,
Windows 2000, Millennium, a couple of different Linux distributions
(especially check out the book Visual Linux from IDG, selling at Costco for
$22.95, and coming with Red Hat, Apache, and I think even StarOffice on 2
CDs in the book).
Definitely beats COMP USA... and you can usually do your pricing on their
web site.
