I recently bought a brand new Harley-Davidson Road King Classic
motorcycle. It came with a video, and between the guy talking on the
video and the sales guy I bought the bike from, there was a common
message: read the owner's manual. I actually laughed when I watched the
video because more than once the speaker started to explain some
procedure in detail only to stop short and say, "Read your owner's
manual." The tone was, this is boring stuff and I don't want to bore
you."
The actual owner's manual is OK, but could be better. Do any of you
write documentation for the Harley-Davidson Motor Company?
