Communicators all
Many Australians don't have English as a first language because we have many
recent migrants. There is a commitment from many organisations to help these
people. Here is some advice from a government superannuation scheme,

"If you experience difficulty with the English language, please contact
ComSuper and arrangements will be made to provide speicifc information to
you in translation."

The rest of the brochure, presumably written for people who do not
'experience difficulty with the English language', is not too bad. Obviously
there was a genuine attempt to help people. What a pity someone added this
stupid sentence. Of course if you can't read English you can't read any
sentence but even if you had at least some reading skills this would still
have been incomprehensible. THis sentence is more difficult to understand
that those written for the more literat among us! Apart from the obvious
problems with the sentence they haven't even repeated the contact details of
ComSuper here.

....yet another sad lost opportunity to write something helpful.
