I have been asked a few times now, what a "Zweiräppler" is.

Well, in German, the Swiss Frank (Schweizer Franken) has 100 Rappen.

There used to be a 2 Rappen coin (which is now long gone, as the smallest
used coin is the 5 Rappen coin; Switzerland does not bother with single
Rappen anymore).

This 2 Rappen coin is named "Zweiräppler" in Swiss German.

So, the "Zweiräppler" is the Swiss equivalent to the "2 cents".
