Several days ago, I posted a message with a link to a
main-stream e-zine (Wired), about a subject that a number of you
found objectionable. While I don't retract my belief that part
of the article contained information appropriate to what we do
(convince through grammar), I was remiss in not including an
emphatic warning in the post about its subject matter to
insulate those who wish to avoid certain subjects regardless of
its impact on the profession...I only mentioned the
"awkwardness" of the subject in passing.

I apologize for the post and in the future, will do my best to
be more obvious about it's content.
