I never minded doing performance appraisals. However nutsy or boring, they
forced me to focus on my major accomplishments during the previous year --
which made it a snap to add them to my resume.
And, although I have had only two employers in my entire life, I firmly
believe in keeping an updated resume at all times. It does wonders for
your confidence to know that you're not stuck anywhere, and could move on
if you chose to.
