Here's a summary of the responses I got to my post requesting ways to find
technical writing offsite contracts.

Nancy A. McDonald suggested these agencies:
* TechniSource (www.tsrc.net)
* VOLT
* Manpower
* Maxim Group
* AeroTek (note that this site is not IT)
* CompuWare

Lora M. Beene suggested:

* Vary the job descriptions: e.g., search for Technical Writer, then also
look under Documentation Specialist
* Local newspaper classifieds for IT or IS positions
* Search Yahoo's Classifieds and Guru.com
* Use company employment opportunities pages

Bill Hartzer suggested these sites:
* www.guru.com
* ework.com

Win Day's advice was:
* Check the STC job bank of your local chapter
* Check the classified ads in your local paper
* Register with several agencies and make your preferences known.

Thanks to all for your help.
