The Win 95/NT help developer's bible is "Developing Online Help for Windows
95" by Scott Boggan, David Farkas, and Joe Welinske (ISBN 1850322112). You
can order it from Solutions (www.sol-sems.com). Another good book for more
advanced techniques is Cheri Zubak's book with Mary Deaton "Designing
Windows 95 Help: A Guide to Creating Online Documents" (ISBN 0789703629).

WinHlp-L is a great resource, but it's good to start with the basic
references. You might also try downloading ForeHelp's or RoboHelp's demo and
play around a bit. I find RoboHelp is better for learning how to work under
the hood, but if you want to be functional quickly, ForeHelp is better.
