Acrobat with PDFMaker does a *great* job of converting Word
heading styles to bookmarks. PDF Writer does not do that for
either v3 or v4.
In Acrobat v4.0, there is no stand-alone Distiller program --
it's all part of the newer Acrobat program. But, even Distiller
3.01 converted headings to bookmarks using the PDFMaker plug-in
(some people had to tinker a bit to set it up for large for
documents with many headings, but I never had a problem with
it).
