Hi Johnny,
You could tag each index marker (T symbol) as:
- a new, colored style of conditional text
or
- a new, colored character style
..not quick solutions, but then, FM isn't really designed to do what you're
asking.

p.s. A good way to update/change entries in your index is to lock it (press
the key sequence: Esc F l k), then all index entries act as hypertext link
jumps to the associated index marker. If you leave the marker dialog box
open, you can easily and quickly update index entries. Simply
update/generate the index via the book regularly and continue using the
hypertext jumps in the index to do the updates. When you're done with the
updates/changes, simply unlock the index (again, press the key sequence: Esc
F l k). Note, that is a lowercase "L" in that sequence...

Subject: Re: FrameMaker Index Tag Question
Hello:
I'm using FrameMaker's index marker to tag all those things that I feel
should be included in an index. My question is this: Frame inserts the tags
as a black T. Is it possible to insert them in an alternitive color, say
red. That way, I could find them on the fly.
PS.
I have been able to do this if I change the font color of the text, but
that's not what I want.
