Just found the solution on the Internet (see below). I thought I might
share my experience in case someone else has the same problem.
1. Close the document.
2. Open the TOOLS menu.
3. Select Macro, Security.
4. Change the Security level to Medium.
5. On the second tab, un-check the "Trust all Add-ins and ..." check box.
This means, every time you open a document that stores Macros, you will see
the "This document contains macros message" which allows you to enable or
disable macros.
