We have been asked to submit a proposal for creating more than 100 Captivate video tutorials, each portraying 10 to 30 steps of a process. Manuscripts, graphics, and text are all provided, we are to narrate the videos, embed graphics and sound, create TOCs, navigation aids, and closed-captioning. Any idea what kind of time frame would be appropriate per video? We normally work on a time and material basis with a "not to exceed" upper limit, but this RFP specifically requires a fixed price.
I understand that the time variable is huge, with the first 10 or so taking way longer than the rest of the videos. Any suggestions, references, or pricing ideas for producing Captivate tutorials would be greatly appreciated.
