Perhaps you could through them into an assignment over their heads and see how they handle the pressure and let Darwinism take over. Those who have the capability for resourcefulness would find a way to accomplish the task, and the others would fail and perhaps change their majors and not enter the workplace attempting to do a job they can't handle.
That would probably not fly with the administration of most American colleges, but it would sure be fun to watch. <g>
