Well......

Our company's next big release is going to be SQL server-based. I figured it
would be a good idea to start with one of the "...for Dummies" books and
find out exactly what I would be documenting, and why.

A section explaining why one would need to install OLAP services states:

"OLAP is a set of decision support services that are used in enterprise-wise
computing. These decision support services (also known as DSS) allow for
better reporting and data modeling, designed specifically for decision
support applications. Decision support applications are sometimes referred
to as 'data warehousing applications.' "

Huh?

Thank God, though, the book also spends over two paragraphs explaining how
to use a treeview.

I'll let you guys sort out whether or not the audience assumptions made by
the "...for Dummies" series are always good ones....

Cheers,
Atticus
