And us "south-pondians" do it differently again... Our Oxford/Websters
equivalent in Australia is the Macquarie Dictionary where the first edition
states:
"personalise"
1. To make personal
2. To mark in some way so as to identify as the property of a particular
person
3. To personify
Also, "personalize"
We still tend to use the "-ise" version in most cases. However, if writing
for an international English audience I will use the "-ize" version.
