If you cannot distinguish the second figure from the first by _any_ means,
including a callout number or some difference, then I'd say (after you say
"See Figure 1-5."), "(Figure 1-5 and Figure 1-3 are identical.)" The
parentheses are importanat, IMO. Not tacky; considerate.
